The purpose of our Waitlist Application Form is to help us get to know potential puppy parents and provide a place to outline your puppy preferences. 

We want every puppy to find the best possible home, so we greatly appreciate any details about your lifestyle, household, and expectations. To help us ensure match each pup with their pawfect person🐶✨

We are not first come, first served. We don’t take early deposits or promise puppies to any prior to going through the Adoption Process. So don’t hesitate to apply, even if you’re prepared to wait for the right puppy! 

🐶 Our Puppies & Colours 

Our incredible colours and incredible genetics are something we truly pride ourselves on at AussieDoods Australia. We have spent years studying canine colour and health genetics to ensure the happiest, healthiest, puppies possible! 

We are a home based, Mother & Daughter run program. Our dogs are our home, our hearts and our whole world, so we are constantly trying to improve our program in every way, for the betterment of our dogs, puppies and amazing adoptive families.

We also believe in being upfront and transparent. If your application suggests that a herding or working breed may not be the right fit for your lifestyle, it is unlikely that a 

puppy will be allocated to you. 

Our top priority is always the long term compatibility, health, happiness, and wellbeing of our puppies, rather than trying to accommodate every applicant. 

That said, if we feel this breed may not be the best match, we are always happy to have a conversation and explore other options or guidance for finding the right fit.

📋 Our Waitlist Process

Once you submit your Waitlist Application Form, your details are securely stored and you are added to our mailing list for upcoming Adoption Emails. The form can be submitted at any time prior to the Adoption Email being sent for your preferred litter.

(We currently do not send out Waitlist Confirmations when you submit a form - If you would like to ensure your form has come through successfully, please send us a message)

We don’t take early deposits, hold placements, or prioritise families on the waitlist, everyone begins at the exact same starting point until we receive and review all Adoption Email responses.

When a mama is confirmed pregnant, we share updates across our socials. From pregnancy, to the puppies arrival, and all the special milestones along the way 🐾

Once the puppies are approximately 4–6 weeks old, and we’ve had time to begin assessing their individual temperaments, personality traits and quirks, coat types, estimated size, and shedding levels, we send out our Adoption Emails to those who have filled out a Waitlist Form.

Waitlist Forms can be submitted at any time prior to Adoption Emails being sent for your preferred litter. You may receive emails for litters that aren’t quite the right fit for you, that’s absolutely fine. Simply respond when a litter comes along that you feel aligned with.

These emails include:

• Individual puppy profiles (including prices, coat types, quirks, estimated adult size, and activity level)

• More in depth questions to help us better understand each home and the life that can be provided for a new pup

• A section for your top 3 puppy preferences

After receiving all Adoption Email responses, we carefully review everything, including all previous communication (emails, messages, calls, etc.) and begin matching each puppy with the home we feel is the best fit.

This process is not based on irrelevant things like having the biggest house or who submitted their form first, but rather lifestyle, daily routine, experience, and the overall life each puppy will have. Our goal is always to create the best possible match for long term success.

Sometimes your matched puppy may be your first preference, and sometimes it may not even be on your list, but every decision is made for best long term compatibility and the puppy’s best interest at heart.

Once matches are finalised, we reach out to families individually to offer a specific puppy. If they’re happy to proceed, a holding deposit is then placed to secure your pup until they head home. If not, we move on to the next best family, and the puppy may then be shown as available on our socials.

Our size ranges are:

• Toy: 4–9kg

• Mini: 10–17kg

• Standard: 18–30kg

Coat types can be:

• Unfurnished (No curl, shedding, straight fur)

• Single Furnished ~ Strong & Weak (Shaggy, wavy, low to no shed)

• Double Furnished (Very curly, hypoallergenic)

Breeds:

• Aussiedoodles (Toy, Mini, Standard • F1,F1B,F2)

• Australian Shepherds (Mini & Standard)

• Aussie Mountain Doodles / AMD (Standard Size)

❤️ Our Commitment to Puppies & Families

We are passionate about finding the perfect match for our puppies and their families. 

Our process ensures:

• Health & Temperament: All parents are DNA health tested, hip & elbow scored, trained, and temperament tested from 8 weeks of age.

• Lifestyle & Care: Our Pack either live in our home on 30 acres (free roaming, homemade meals, lots of love) or in a Guardian Home.

• Early Learning & Training: Puppies begin ENS & ESI training from 3–16 days old, Socialisation & Desensitisation Training, Open Door Crate Training and Toilet Training from 2 weeks, and individual crate training from 6-8 + weeks.

• Health Care: Apart from their Health & Temperament Tested parents, our puppies are regularly weighed ( Everyday from days 0-7, weekly from 1-8 weeks old ), they receive liquid puppy worming (Drontal) fortnightly from 2 weeks old, first comprehensive vet check at 6-7 weeks, first vaccination, microchipping, and fit to fly certifications before leaving.

• Lifetime Breeder Support: From the very first message you send to enquire, to the day your new puppy is headed off to their new home and all the incredible years after that. We are always here. Always ready to answer any and all questions or concerns you may have, help with training, nutrition, grooming ect. We are always here to help, every step of the way. 

✈️ Transportation & Crate Training

We are located in South East Queensland but can organise interstate transport from Brisbane Airportan additional $300–$400 (depending on location).

Our Individual Crate Training Program is mandatory for interstate puppies from 6 weeks of age, to ensure they are confident and comfortable in a crate prior to their day of travel.
