Hi! Welcome to Aussiedoods Australia!

We are Registered QLD Breeders as well as Mother & Daughter run business! 

We are located near Cedar Pocket, QLD, 4570. 

Here at Aussiedoods we have been working with and rearing dogs for over 20+ years. For 10+ years we had been focused on producing DNA health tested and clear puppies. 

Our main priorities with our dogs is health, temperament, socialisation and desensitisation. All of our dogs are our pets and live in our family home, so our puppies experience common sounds, surroundings and experiences at an extremely early age.

Within the last 5 years we made the decision to breed Australian Shepherds and Aussiedoodles.

Mainly to work with the incredible colours they have to offer, but also their impeccable obedience. The Australian Shepherd is an INCREDIBLE breed.  A very trainable dog, being very intelligent and enjoying the ability to bond with their human family. As a result, they love to learn tricks and skills. They are very responsive to positive reinforcement, making toilet training and other training easy to master. 

We are aware that most common households just do not have the time it takes to own a purebred standard Aussie. So we have incorporated the purebred MINIATURE AUSTRALIAN SHEPHERD! 

An extremely rare breed with less than 4 breeders throughout the whole of Australia! These guys are between only 6kgs-18kgs! 

These tiny heart breakers are much more equipped for suburban living. Mini Aussies have a very big brain behind that adorable little face. These natural learners can be trained to perform all sorts of tasks, and they are up for learning any game that keeps their minds engaged. Their helpful personality comes from their history as herders. But because of their size are able to wind down and relax a lot easier than a larger dog could. 

Then we combine it with the very loved, Poodle.

Poodle mixes are so popular for several reasons-they have a low-shedding, hypoallergenic coat, they're generally loyal, smart, and good with kids, and usually, mixed breeds have fewer health issues due to the variety in their genes. 

When you mix two or more separate gene pools, the recessive genes that carry the health problems are buried. As a result, you get a healthier animal. Simply put, mixed-breed dogs are, in general, healthier than their purebred cousins and typically require fewer visits to the vet.

Not to underestimated the pure poodle, these guys are beautiful, bright and clever. Being the 2nd most intelligent breed of all time!

Throughout the last 5 years we have also put a large amount of our energy towards colour genetics. We have always DNA tested and selected our breeding dogs for health, but colour is an entirely new ball game. To achieve the colours everybody loves, it takes a lot of study. Did you know you can mixed two red coloured dogs together and still get an entire litter of black puppies?! CRAZY!!!

This is another reason we are extremely selective of the dogs we breed.
